Fire Adapted Communities (FAC) is a national effort that promotes engagement by homeowners, firefighters, civic leaders, and land managers to reduce wildfire risk in communities throughout the United States. This initiative is sponsored by the USDA Forest Service and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and supported by a coalition of leading wildfire organizations.
