Midpeninsula Regional Open Space Vision Plan Workshops

You are Invited to Participate in the MROSD Vision Plan Process...

Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District (MROSD) is in the midst of a 16-month vision plan process to determine the future of its open space preserves. So far about a thousand people have participated in conversations about how they envision the future of open space in this part of the Bay Area. At the same time, a team of scientists has been studying current conditions that present opportunities and challenges to the kind of future people envision. MROSD has used all this information to identify a vision and range of actions to include in the Vision Plan. Now the District is convening a series of public workshops where community members will help decide which of these actions are most important. You are invited to join us at the following public meetings: Two-Part MROSD Board of Directors Workshop: Vision Plan Desired Outcomes and Priority Actions, October 2 and October 9, 2013 A two-part Vision Plan Workshop is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2, andWednesday October 9, 2013. Informational presentations will cover the District’s Vision, Desired Outcomes, and the Board will identify which actions to move forward for consideration in the upcoming regional workshops (see below).  The meeting agenda is now available online.
