Upcoming meeting dates are 2/8, 4/12, 6/14, 10/11 and 12/13. Meetings are on Wednesdays and start at 9:15 am at 4091 Jefferson Ave. in Redwood City. Our annual barbeque will be on 8/9, location to be determined.

Member Meeting Highlights
Every other month, FSSMC hosts a meeting where members can talk about topics of interest. At October's meeting, we discussed a proposed sponsor and project check list form and a fee schedule to provide Fire Safe sponsors for projects. We asked members to provide input as to what, if any, changes they would like to see to the website. We discussed possible community outreach efforts in order to increase funding. We also provided an update on the progress of our existing grants. We closed with asking members to provide an update on topics of interest in their respective jurisdictions.
First of Five Fire Hazard Road Signs Installed
In partnership with insurance provider, FM Global, and CAL FIRE, we are able to construct and install signs at strategic locations in San Mateo County. Here's an example of CAL FIRE's handywork which was installed at Station #59 in Pescadero. Well done, CAL FIRE! Thank you!
